Mall Of South AfriKan Arts & Entertainment is designed as a mall housing various digital arts stores managed by artists as vendors who sell their arts products such as South African music, Crafts, Films, Theatre Productions, Books Event Tickets, etc.

For the Artist to sell their work, they have to sign up and create an account (as a vendor in the mall). The account will be managed by themselves with regards to uploading their works and setting up their prices. Artists will have to sign an indemnity form confirming that the content they want to sell is truly theirs and/or they own copyrights of the work. The account created by the Artist/Vendor will be a dashboard which displays all sales/income generated in real-time. The Artist/Vendor will invoice the Mall Of South AfriKan Arts & Entertainment at the end of/last day of each month for sale/s generated during that particular month. The Artist/Vendor will have to allow at least 5 working days after invoicing for their payment/s to be processed into the bank account details provided.

Product Quality Control

This is a process through which we (Mall Of South AfriKan Arts & Entertainment) seek to ensure that product quality is maintained or improved. This involves verifying, playing back and/or viewing products to determine if they are within the specifications of the actual product and if they meet the our standards as we strive to provide quality to the customer and build a trusted online brand for South AfriKan Artists.

The Artist/Vendor log into their personal account created, upload their work and allow at 7days max for their work to go through the Product Quality Control process. They shall be notified if their work is approved or not.

Compensation

Payment Percentage Between the Artist/Vendor & Mall Of South AfriKan Arts & Entertainment

A percentage of 25% per unit/per sale/per download will be paid to Mall Of South AfriKan Arts & Entertainment by the Artist/Vendor for Administration/hosting/rental. The Artist/Vendor will be paid 75% per unit/per sale/per download for their work.

NB: The Artist/Vendor reserves the right to terminate the agreement and close shop with a written notice 2 weeks before end of the month. Thereafter, they will still be paid for the sale of that month before their account is deactivated.

How do I buy products as a customer?

1. To register as a Customer/Buyer, click here or on Register at the top of the website/App and create an account. We’ll need your e-mail address and a password.
2. Find the product you want to buy.
3. Add the products you want to buy to your shopping cart.
4. Proceed through checkout using any of the Mall Of South AfriKan Arts & Entertainment’s available payment methods.
5. Choose method of payment (EFT or Master Card).
6. Fill in delivery details.
7. Review your order details and complete payment.
8. Make payment.

How Do I register as Vendor/Seller?

To register as a Vendor/Seller, click here or on Vendors / Vendor Registration in the menu of the website/App and create an account. We’ll need your full name, e-mail address, a password, your gender and at least one contact number. You will need to send a sample of your product/artistic work to be reviewed and allow at 7 days max for your work to go through the Product Quality Control process. You shall be notified if the work is approved. (Kindly note, that should you not receive notification of approval of your product/s within 7 days, it means your product/work has not been approved).

Returns

1. Simply send us an email stating your complaint/s. Provide the original order number of when you bought the product.
2. Pack the product in its original packaging, and into a shipping box or other packaging to protect the products during transit. Remember that if you are returning a product because you changed your mind, you must have the original product packaging – which must be intact and undamaged.
3. Our couriers will contact you within 1 to 3 business days after you have logged your return, to arrange the collection.
4. Once your returned product has been validated by the Mall Of South AfriKan Arts & Entertainment’s quality team, you will be refunded within 7 working days.

NB: Digital downloads cannot be returned/exchanged.
